Pair Steal Trailer Then Construction Equiptment

Barrie Police Service is currently investigating two incidents where suspects attended a Barrie small business and construction equipment compound stealing multiple pieces of equipment and a trailer.

On Monday, February 6th, 2017 a newer model, black Ford F150 pickup truck attended the parking lot of Home Options Made Easy, located at 130 Saunders Road, in the City of Barrie. The truck, with two men inside, hooked up a black and red trailer cutting all locking mechanisms on the hitch and wheels, pulling out with all construction equipment inside.

Description of Trailer:

  • 2016 BECK
  • Red and black
  • Licence plate: N2461F

Officers then learned of a second theft at a fenced in compound located at 179 Live Eight Way, in the City of Barrie.  Officers were able to view video of the same black Ford F150 attend the compound on four separate occasions throughout the night, scoping out the area, finally returning with a trailer attached to the rear.  The two men breached the secure fence and removed a Tamper Wacker at 1:40am.

  • Male, white
  • Bald
  • Wearing white shoes, black jacket and blue jeans

Description of Suspect #2 unclear at this time.
