Two Males Head Straight for the Meat

Barrie Police have collected video from a theft of meat where two males entered a store knowing exactly what they were coming for and wasted no time leaving with their goods.

On Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at 11:00am two males entered the Real Canadian Wholesale Club located at 289 Yonge Street, in the City of Barrie, with re-usable grocery bags in hand. They grabbed a cart and walked directly to the meat section placing various packages of steaks and chicken into the bags.  Once full, the males walked directly out of the store without paying for any items.  

Both males are described as:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 20 to 30-years-old
  • Both wearing dark clothing, winter hats and either work boots or Timberlands
