Police Arrest An Outstanding Male Following an Assault

Police have located the third party who had been involved in an assault on a 17-year-old male outside McDonald's Restaurant on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

An 18-year-old Barrie man has been arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5,000, as a result of breaking the victims skateboard during the attack. He will appear in a Barrie court in April.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male following an assault that took place outside McDonald's Restaurant, located 85 Dunlop Street West, in the City of Barrie, on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

Video surveillance has recently been provided to police, which captured the assault on a  17-year-old Barrie teen while standing outside McDonalds Restaurant. 

Police have since arrested and charged two teens from Barrie; a 19-year-old female and 17-year-old male have been charged with Assault. A third male remains outstanding and is described as;

  • Male, white (17-19 yrs.)
  • 5’10, 160 lbs.
  • Brown hair
  • Wearing a red baseball hat, coat (red and grey), khaki pants and Converse shoes.
