Theft of Razor Blades
March 31st, 2017 - Police & the Community

Barrie Police officers are currently investigating a theft of over $500.00 of razor blades from a local drug store after a blatant theft Wednesday.

On Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 12:35pm an unknown male entered the Pharma Plus located at 353 Duckworth Street, in the City of Barrie.  The male made his way directly to the razor blade section where he selected various packages, stashing them in to a black "Starter" backpack he was carrying.  Employees on scene picked up on something suspicious but  were unable to stop the male before he fled from the store.  He ran north across the parking lot and circled around the building towards Bernick Drive.

Police are continuing their investigation at this time and wish for anyone who may have information to please contact PC G Brickell of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 ext. 2520 or email at gbrickell@barriepolice.ca. Any information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or leave an anonymous tip online at www.tipsubmit.com
