Occurrence Type: Barrie Police Street Crime Unit Seize An Estimated $24,800 in Ilicit Drugs

Following an ongoing investigation, members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit arrested and charged four (4) people with numerous drug offenses, following a Criminal Code Search Warrant executed at a residence on Yonge Street and a residence on Maple Avenue, in the City of Barrie, on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Investigators seized a quantity of cash as well as 240 grams of Cocaine, 70 grams of Marihuana and 1 gram of Ecstasy(MDMA), an estimated street value of $24,800.

A 34-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marihuana, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine. 

A 36-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marihuana, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and four(4) counts of Fail to Comply with a Probation Order.

A 46-year-old female from Barrie has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marihuana and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.

A 35-year-old man from Brampton has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine. The vehicle driven by the accused, a 2011 Range Rover, was seized by police and later returned following the execution of a search warrant on the vehicle.
