Drug Traffickers Shut Down

Members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit arrested and charged two (2) people with several drug offenses on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

A 35-year-old Barrie man was arrested during a traffic stop on Letitia Heights, in the City of Barrie. Further investigation then led to the arrest of a 27-year-old woman, who was located at a hotel in Angus. Police seized a quantity of cash, drug paraphernalia and 44 grams of Cocaine, an estimated street value of $4400.00

A 35-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Fail to Comply with an Undertaking and Drive Under Suspension.

A 27-year-old woman from Barrie has been charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking.
