On Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2:16 p.m., Barrie Police attended to a Dunlop St. East convenience store after receiving a report of a robbery.
Upon arrival, the suspect, a 37-year-old male of no fixed address, was observed walking westbound on Dunlop St. East and was taken into custody a short distance away. He was transported to Barrie Police Headquarters and was subsequently held for a bail hearing.
The accused is facing charges that include Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Resist Peace, Carry Concealed Weapon and 3 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation.
