Records & Information Management Services

Highlights

Records and Information Management Services continues to grow as the Barrie Police Service and the general public rely more heavily on data that is both transparent and accessible. In 2022, the Unit added a new Auditor/Trainer position that performs data entry quality control to maintain the integrity of the data through performing regular quality assurance checks. This position also coordinates and provides training for Barrie Police Service members in order to ensure enhanced use of important tracking tools that produce a higher quality of data and information management.
