The Barrie Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public with regards to an ongoing robbery investigation.
On Saturday, September 21 2019, at 11:00 p.m., a lone male suspect, brandishing an unknown weapon, entered the Circle K Convenience Store located at 11 Cundles Road West in the City of Barrie and made a demand for cash. The on-duty clerk complied and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency was obtained and the suspect ran from the store.
The actions of the suspect were captured on surveillance video and police are trying to identify the person responsible. He is described as male white, wearing a green hoodie, grey gloves, sunglasses, a mask to conceal his face, grey track pants rolled up just below his knees, high cut dark socks with white sneakers and dark bottoms.
