“The board’s decision to extend the Chief’s contract is evidence of its confidence in the leadership she has demonstrated over the past five years to ensure the members of the Barrie Police Service are positioned to provide professional, accountable and sustainable policing services within the community,” said Chair Angela Lockridge.

We look forward to working with the Chief to enable the Service continues to respond to the needs of a growing community and ensure the safety and security of its citizens and a cost-effective manner. At the same time, on behalf of the Board, I extend our thanks to each of you, for your professionalism and ongoing contributions to policing excellence in the City of Barrie.”
