The Barrie Police Service Records and Information Management Services (RIMS) Unit continues to expand online services. For those who need to file a Freedom of Information request under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Information Act (MFIPPA), the application and payment can now be done online, without needing to attend Barrie Police Headquarters.

The new online service is easy and secure and allows for the request and payment to be done at any time. A PDF form is still available for those that wish to submit their request manually.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this additional level of service to the public,” said Records Manager Danielle Martin. “For those who need access to records, they will now be able to make the request quickly, safely and easily online.”
