On April 14, 2021, the suspect entered the Walmart store on Mapleview Drive and was seen in the Health and Beauty area looking at electric razors and electric toothbrushes.
On surveillance footage, he can then be seen walking through the store to the electronics area, which was closed due to COVID restrictions. After moving several skids out of the way, he accessed the electronics area and can be seen ducking down, so he is not noticed by anyone in the store.
After selecting a Smart Projector, he exited the electronic department and stopped in the stationery department to place the projector in a red bag he had brought in with him. The male then walked through the store and to the registers and walked right through, making no attempt to pay for the item.
The male was stopped at the exit, as the alarm had gone off, but when asked for the receipt, he showed the associate an old receipt and continued walking out of the store.
