On Saturday, September 11, 2021, between 2:16 p.m.-2:39 p.m., a male and female entered the Zehr’s located at 620 Yonge St. and proceeded to selectively fill a shopping cart with over $500 worth of consumable food, beverages, and clothing items. The male suspect then walked toward the exit and tried to leave the store without paying for the selected items, all under the watchful eye of a loss prevention specialist. This male, when approached, gave up the cart and its contents and was last seen fleeing into the nearby parking lot. The suspects are described as female, 5’7″ tall, heavier build, long straight dark hair, approximately 50 years of age, wearing a white tank top, black shorts and black sandals, and male, 5’8″ tall, approximately 60 years of age, short white hair, average build, wearing a blue collared shirt, shorts and white sneakers. On Friday September 17, 2021, at 11:45 a.m., a female with a counterfeit Ontario driver’s licence attended the Money Mart located 44 Mapleview Drive West and attempted to open an account. Recognizing that the licence was a fake, the on-duty employee seized the licence and police were later called. The female is wanted for uttering a forged document.
