Yesterday morning, just after 8:00 a.m., the Barrie Police Service was notified of a break and enter at a laundromat located on Burton Avenue by a patron who had come to use the facilities.
From the investigation that followed, police have determined that at 2:50 a.m., two males dressed in dark clothing and face coverings entered the 24-hour business and forced open an office door. Once inside, a container with coins taken from the laundry machines was stolen.
Although the picture quality is not the best, the incident was captured on surveillance cameras located in the business and an image of one of the suspects responsible is being shared.
If anyone has information that may assist police in identifying either of the suspects, please contact Barrie Police Constable Smith who is the investigating officer. Constable Smith can be reached at 705-725-7025, extension 2583 or by email at [email protected].
