On Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:14 a.m., the Barrie Police Service was notified of a break and enter to a pharmacy located at 125 Bell Farm Rd.

Responding officers located a broken window and from the investigation that followed, it was determined that the suspect used a baseball bat to smash the window which allowed entry to the pharmacy. He then proceeded to steal a quantity of medication, the specifics of which will be identified by the victim later today.

The Barrie Police Canine Unit also responded to this incident and unsuccessfully conducted a track.  

Police are trying to identify the suspect responsible for this occurrence and from obtained video surveillance, the following description is available: male black, wearing camo green hooded sweater, red/orange undershirt, black pants, and black shoes (please see attached pictures).
