On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, just before 8:00 p.m., officers from the Barrie Police Service attended a residence located on St. Vincent St., just north of Rose St., for a reported break and enter.
From the investigation that followed, police have determined that the home was entered sometime overnight and that the person(s) responsible stole a laptop computer, an iPad, headphones, and a large quantity of jewelry.
At present, there are no known suspects and there are no known witnesses.
Police are reminding homeowners to always make sure that all doors are locked and that all widows and sliding doors are locked and secured so that they cannot be forced open.
