Chief Kimberley Greenwood
Retirement Gala

Purchase Tickets
Chief Kimberley Greenwood has dedicated her career in policing to helping others, and her retirement celebration is no different.
All proceeds from the Retirement Gala will go to support the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre Simcoe/Muskoka. The Child and Youth Advocacy Centre model is an internationally-recognized model of excellence in investigating allegations of child or youth abuse, and in reducing trauma for those who have been abused. The well-being of children and youth in our communities is a collective responsibility. As such, ensuring a safe, neutral space and specially-trained support personnel are available to children and youth who have been abused is an important priority.
Your ticket purchase helps to ensure the CYAC can continue its vital support of children and youth in our community.
As a guest at the Gala, you will enjoy hors d’oeuvres during the cash bar cocktail hour, a delicious meal, with wine selection, as well as dessert with coffee and tea, before hitting the dance floor with a live band.
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for the event! Ticket sales are now closed.

About the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre
The Child & Youth Advocacy Centre Simcoe/Muskoka (CYAC) is a child & youth-friendly space where police, child protection, medical, mental health, court and victim support professionals work together to provide focused services to young people aged 3 to 24 years who have been victimized by physical, sexual and emotional abuse and/or domestic violence.
Our Centres offer a safe and neutral place for young people to tell their story, when they are ready. We honour their bravery by fostering a hopeful and healing-centered, evidence based and unbiased approach to conducting forensic interviews, medical evaluations and access to trauma-informed counselling services. We also provide canine assisted therapeutic interventions with our accredited facility dogs Moose & Beacon.
Imparting hope to children, youth and families impacted by abuse and violence is important, transformative work and our AMAZING multidisciplinary team is willing to take the lead in helping to restore justice, safety, hope and healing for impacted young people and their caregivers in Simcoe County and Muskoka, but we need your help.
Thank you for joining us this evening to honour Chief Kimberley Greenwood’s career, and the significant impact she has had on helping young people in our community.
