A 42-year-old Barrie man has been arrested and charged with four counts of Theft Under $5,000, following a slue of thefts from TELUS Mobility, located in Georgian Mall, Barrie. 

The suspect had been captured on video surveillance stealing BEATS Audio headphones throughout the month of January.

The 42-year-old male turned himself into police and will appear in a Barrie court in April of 2017.

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect responsible for several thefts which had occurred at TELUS Mobility, located within the Georgian Mall, Barrie.

It is believed the suspect attended the store several times throughout the month of January during peak hours, which enabled him to quickly remove BEATS Audio headphones by manipulating the security locks.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Suspect is described as;

  • Male, white
  • Bald
  • Wearing a baseball hat or toque, dark winter jacket, jeans and running shoes.
