Police Looking to Identify Fourth Robbery Suspect

(Update) Following an early morning robbery in College Heights Park, Investigators have now charged three people;

A 17-year-old female from the City of Toronto has been charged with; Robbery, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. She appeared in bail court Monday afternoon and was remanded.

A 16-year-old female from the City of Toronto has been charged with; Robbery, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, two counts of Attempt Fraud Under $5,000, and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cannabis. She appeared in bail court Monday afternoon and was remanded.

A 21-year-old male from the City of Toronto has been charged with; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, and Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle. He appeared in bail court Monday afternoon and was remanded.

Investigators continue to seek the whereabouts of a fourth suspect. He is described as;

  • Male, black (18 to 20 yrs.)
  • Thin build, 6’
  • Dark hair - dreadlocks
  • Dark goatee
  • Wearing beige pants, white long sleeve shirt, and has a sling on his right arm.

Police Looking to Identify Fourth Robbery Suspect

Barrie Police Investigative Services have arrested one male and two females following a robbery that occurred at College Heights Park, located off Bernick Drive, in the City of Barrie.

On Monday, September 17, 2018, just before 4:00 a.m., police were called to Duckworth Plaza, located at 353 Duckworth Street for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, they located and spoke with two victims, who indicated the suspects fled the area in a motor vehicle and provided police with a description of the suspect vehicle.

The vehicle was located by police at the intersection of Blake Street and St. Vincent Street, after the driver had lost control and crashed into a nearby park. Three suspects fled the area on foot, although they were located in the surrounding area by canine.

Police are currently searching for a fourth suspect involved.

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, black (18 to 20 yrs.)
  • Thin build, 6’
  • Dark hair - dreadlocks
  • Dark goatee
  • Wearing beige pants, white long sleeve shirt, and has a sling on his right arm.

Charges are pending and further information will be released as details become available.
