The Barrie Police Services Board has a duty to ensure we are making the best possible use of taxpayers’ dollars every year. The Barrie Police Service continues to focus on community safety and well-being and the role the service plays within the broader network of social services within our city.
The 2023 Barrie Police Service Budget will be presented to the Barrie Police Services Board at the October Board Meeting to be held on Thursday, October 27th. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in person beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Barrie Police Service Headquarters, located at 110 Fairview Road, or watch the livestream at https://youtu.be/WT16oUIxIuc.
Members of the public were invited to share deputations in June during the budget preparation process, as well as share any considerations anytime via email, or through our online budget feedback form. We thank those who took the time to provide deputations, share comments, and become informed on the budget development.
