The Barrie Police Service is investigating an overnight break and enter that occurred on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, between 2:31 a.m. and 2:34 a.m.in an industrial plaza located on the northside of Mapleview Drive West, west of Marsellus Drive.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was apparent that the business, which specializes in video games, gaming systems and accessories, had been entered by breaking the glass in the front door. Once inside a quantity of video games were stolen.

From surveillance video seized from the immediate area, police have been able to determine that one suspect entered the store and used large plastic bins to load up and steal the video games. The bins were then handed out to a second suspect who waited near an unplated, newer model, silver coloured, Honda Odyssey van.

The suspect who entered the store is described as male white, heavy build, grey hoody with black “PUMA” and a black PUMA logo on the chest with the hood on, red and black checked bandana on his face, black gloves with white symbol on them, dark colored track pants with CHAMPION logo on the left front pocket area, grey hiking boots. The male who waited in the parking lot area near the van is described as male, heavy build, black hoody with the hood and wearing black pants.

Anyone with information that may assist in identifying the persons responsible for this break and enter is asked to please contact the investigating officer Constable Liu by email at [email protected].
