Last night , at 10:48 p.m., the Barrie Police Service responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Innisfil Street, just west of Marshall Street in the city of Barrie.
Responding officers have determined that the involved motor vehicle, a pickup truck, left the roadway and struck a tree after reportedly losing control on the wet roads. The male driver and a passenger were not injured however, the driver was prohibited from driving.
The 36-year-old driver from Barrie was placed under arrest for Drive while Prohibited at the scene and later released on an Undertaking to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie on October 30, 2023.
