On Wednesday August 16, 2023, the Barrie Police Service Street Crime Unit executed several search warrants at a south end Barrie residence after they entered into a stolen vehicle investigation.
A 27-year-old Barrie male was arrested for possession of property obtained by crime. A search of the residence revealed that the male was in possession of two stolen vehicles, over 700 grams of cocaine, several prescription pills and a large amount of Canadian currency.
The male was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie at a future date.
