Citizens on Patrol logoThe Citizens On Patrol (COP) program is a group of volunteers who assist the Barrie Police with crime prevention and protection programs.

Working closely with the BPS Community Safety & Well-Being Officer, COPS take part in a variety of community safety initiatives such as distributing “Lock It or Lose It” brochures, staffing information booths at community events, and gathering traffic data.

The COPS volunteers are a diverse group of individuals who all share the goal of giving back to their community and helping keep our city safe.
