The Barrie Police Service 2020 Annual Report is now available in a new online and interactive format at BPSAnnualReport.ca. You can experience the Report come to life with videos, galleries, resources, and more! The new online environment lets audiences navigate and explore Report material on a computer, mobile phone, or tablet. Learn about the Service’s achievements and improvements from the year 2020 along with ongoing initiatives in place to ensure a safe and secure community.

The 2020 Annual Report covers challenges and opportunities throughout a year that turned out to be very different than anticipated.

“I am excited to share our 2020 Annual Report in this new and innovative way,” said Barrie Police Service Chief Kimberley Greenwood. “2020 was a unique year for all police services, and we hope you find our new online and interactive format an informative and interesting look at how our Service continued to work with our community to ensure continued safety while adhering to public health guidelines.”

Report highlights include achievements of the BPS 2020-2022 Strategic Plan, the transition into the new Barrie Simcoe Emergency Services Campus, COVID-19 Pandemic response measures, Systemic Review of Organizational Culture and Systems as well as highlights from the 2020 Community Safety Survey.
