The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following a theft of a bicycle at a Bayfield Street grocery store.

On Thursday, September 5th, just before 2:00 p.m., the victim had placed their bike inside the entrance doors and entered the store to shop. As the victim walked inside, they glanced back towards where they had left the bike and saw that it was no longer there.

After reviewing security footage from the store, Police are seeking the identity of a male suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 25 – 35 years of age
  • Wearing a black jersey with “MIAMI 6” on it, and a red, short-sleeved t-shirt
  • Wearing camouflage-print pants, white and blue shoes, sunglasses and a black baseball cap

The bicycle is described as:

  • Giant FastRoad Advanced 1ML
  • Dark blue in colour with a black holder under the seat
