The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a theft was reported in the City of Barrie.

On Friday October 11, 2019, just before 5:00 p.m., police responded to a report of a shoplifting that occurred at Talize which is located within the Kozlov Mall. From the investigation that followed, it has been determined that the suspect selected upwards to 10 items, walked to the front of the store and concealed the items in a reusable style shopping bag. The suspect then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the products that they obtained.

Through the use of store video surveillance, police are seeking to identify the lone female suspect who is described as:

  • Female white, 5’5 and in her 30’s. She was wearing a blonde wig with sunglasses, a burgundy vest over an orange and pink t shirt, blue leggings and penguin slippers.
